[Korean Native Plants at the Korea National] Amur poppy
Amur poppy is found in Unggi and the Tumen river
and also its habitats are Manchuria, Amur and Usuri.
It’s a biennial plant and grows up to fifty centimeters.
Thick hairs grow densely on the entire surface of the plant.
Its leaves are alternately arranged and have many teeth
on its margin.
White flowers are borne at the end of a stalk
and
a branch in June and July.
Its fruit is a capsule and looks like a flipped egg.
Seeds come from a hole on the upper side of the fruit
and are ripe in October.
It’s found near streams and pastures.
