Odaesan iris
Odaesan iris is a perennial and Korean endemic plant
belonging to Iridaceae and usually found in high altitude.
Its flower has yellow patterns on the inside of outer
white petals.
Odaesan iris’ stalk generally has two flowers.
Its lower part is thin, broad in the middle and
it becomes thinner on the upper part.
It has triangular fruit in June to August.
The iris’ fruit is usually used for ornamental uses
while its sprouts are for human consumption.
